One thing that these events all had in common was that there were no other women besides Nadine and one other woman. The Dream In mid 2003, Nadine had a vision, it was of a race track full of women drivers, almost more women than men. She feel that if you're a true "Girl Racer" then you'd want the scene to include a community of women, no not import models, but women, like yourself, who love racing their beloved cars. Nadine wanted to make a difference and bring the equality we have in the states out to the racetracks. Why? Nadine asked herself, why weren't the ladies coming out to the tracks? Could it be the male testosterone? The egos? The competitiveness? The stereo types of "women drivers"? The lack of other women? Or did the prospective Girl Racers need merely a simple push? The Answer In late 2003, Nadine called out via my website and message boards to all the ladies out there that would love to get together and learn how to put the pedal to the metal and drive their cars like they're mean to be driven. In days she received numerous emails from prospective ladies who wanted a prominent community of women out on the race track just as much as she did. So, on the last Saturday of December 2003, the "Girl Racers" of the future sat down with Nadine and she introduced to them her new all-girl race-training program called "The Drifting Pretty Program."
