December 23, 2003 17,224 miles.Hello again stranger. Yes, its been quite a busy 2 months. Me & Ben bought our 1st car together, and yup, its another 240 a pretty 92 Green S13. Since getting her last month, our cars have finally gottena vacation from being driven EVERY SINGLE DAY. We had the SoCal240SX Nissan Owners Festival, dd10, dd11 ahhhh! For those of you who attendedthe Festival, thank you very much! It was a big success and I owe it all to you guys! I just came back from DD11 which was on the 13th. I sold my work ewing mesh, so that dayI was rolling on 15's all around. It felt pretty much the same for me. I had a fun time and spent the entire day out on the track, being as persistent as I could to GET IT RIGHT. Lately I've been having a drifting block in my mind, I've been thinking about crashing. I've been trying to calm down and not think so much about it; finally at this event towards the end of the day I forgotabout the danger of hitting a pole hahaha. My doughnuts are bomb and me and Yoshie have been working more on our initiation. We've been working together and we make a great team. Together I know we're going to do really well, its all about teamwork and having fun baybeeh. We're holding our first girl drifter meeting next week at a secret time and place. For the firsttime the ladies of our future girl drifting team "Drifting Pretty" will be coming together. I'm really excited. Remember, if you're a girl or you know a girl that would be interested, send her my way! Me & Yoshie have a great girl drifter training program for 2004, and you don't have to have an SR or a manual tranny or an lsd to participate. Anyhow...I've managed to get a new S15 turbo for my car (Thank you MIKEY at Superior Nissan muah) and my new Work VS-XX wheels have arrived off the boat (thank you 5Zigen USA muah). And thank you to Yokohama for your continued support (hugs to Art & Kim). I'm doing my 5lug swap and Zbrake upgrade hopefully this coming weekend, so I can finally put my wheels on. I've come to the conclusion that for me, all the resources are there for me to become a good drifter, I just need to try harder!!! So my New Year's resolution is to improve drastically at every drift event and kick Benson's ASS! Wish me luck. October 23, 2003 16,542 miles.Hey strangers, long time no write! I'm back from Drift Day 8. At this drift day I was babysitting the skid pad and one of the intermediate courses. I tried out my new tire set-up...Yokohama AVS Sports in the front, and Yokohama AVS DB's in the rear...LOVED it. When you're a beginner like me you need that break-it-loose-easy set up AKA sticky in the front, slippery in the back, and I acheived it. The Sports & the DBs were consistent all day and didn't get too slippery when they heated up. On the skid pad the DBs smoked crazy, at one point I lost myself in the smoke hahhaaha. I'm going to keep this set-up tillsomeone gets me turbo and achieve better drifting skills. Before Drift Day I went to KAAZ and replaced the old viscous with my new/used (Benson's old KAAZ) 2-way LSD. Ray & Saji at KAAZ were nice enough to put my Tanabe rear subframe spacers in as well. I love those things, they're blue!! Its a set of 8 and they're made out of this really cool nylon & glass fiber mix. Metal spacers are the shape of a "C" and are known to be harsh sounding & feeling, but these are perfect circles and the sound is subtle. They make it easier to oversteer and guide my car. Benson loves them too, too bad I jacked him. I got my oil changed at Gushi Auto, I have to make a note of that, change it again Nadine next month. I'll be heading up to Las Vegas for SEMA & Drift Day 9. Also, registration is opening up for the Nissan Owners Festival, have you signed up!? Everyone who is anyone is showing up to this major all-Nissan event. On a further note, my wheels have not left Japan and nor has my new cute aero goodie. Wish them a safe journey home. And lastly, where are all the girls at!? If you're a girl (or a guy who knows a girl) interested in drifting, please let me know. I have some big plans for girl drifting in 04 and would like to hear from you! Take care guys and future girl drifters, see ya at Vegas! September 20, 2003 15,578 miles.Today I had one of my 1st video interviews for a upcoming drifting dvd. Me & Ben were interviewed, or should I say grilled hehehe. They had a lot of good questions for us that really strained our brains! I had a really good time. I'm finally realizing how big drifting is getting, they're making DVD's and me & my friends are in them. Its all flashing before my eyes. But anyway...I'll keep you posted as to when this new DVD will be out, and don't forget Grip Video volume 5 is coming out soon, they're featuring BenLove onthere. Thanks to the guys today, (you know who you are, thank you for giving me & Benson the opportunity to be a part of something so cool!)~ More news, I'm now sponsored by Yokohama tires. Finally, some support for my girl driftingefforts ;). I'd like to send a special thank you to Art at Yokohama. I'm trying out their AVS sports at the moment. I plan to run AVS sports in the front and ES100s in the rear for drifting. So far, the AVS sports are quiet, smooth, and quite grippy (all this tested via my hotheadroadrageskills). I can't wait to try them out on the track. My next drifting practice is October 19th at Irwindale speedway. It isn't soon enough! My foot itches and so does my e-brake pulling hand. Its been a couple of months since my last drive on the track, hope I still remember how to kick the clutch hahaaaa. Next week I hope to go down to KAAZ and install my KAAZ 2-way LSD (thank you Benson love). I feel like I've earned the new lsd since I've had the viscous one on for this entire year! My fuel pump kept tripping its fuse, so Friday I picked up a Denso fuel pump (Thank you to Wayne at Phase2 Motortrend). Me & Ben installed it overnight and got high off the gas fumes, I haven't ever looked inside my gas tank, pretty scary. My car runs smoother now and a little bit faster, it could be in my head. I'm not so sure what color to paint my car now. It should be the end of October when my new wheels come in and I take my car in to get painted. I'm trying to decide whether I should pull my engine for the paint job or not. Decisions decisions...Anyways, make time fly so I can go make sure I didn't forget how to drift. Take care, drive safe and don't forget, your crazy boys, keep it on the track! September 12, 2003 15,305 miles.Long time no write hotties! Well for those of you who went to the Official Summer 240SX meet hosted by SoCal240SX.org, thank you very much! We had a great turn out. I met a lot of new 240 people and saw a lot of cute 240's! We hope to have one more meet before the year is out. 8/31 was D1 Grand Prix, me & Benson we're out there representing Drifting Magazine. It was really fun meeting fans of drifting magazine! Thank you Ed for giving us the opportunity to sport our rice mobils at the booth. That whole booth display experience was a 1st for me & Ben, and all we gotta say is wow. This past month I've had some free time to daydream and plan for the future of the 180SXxy. I think I have created the ultimate 180SXxy MasterPlan baby, here it is!I'm 88% sure I'm changing her color to @#(*(*&. Its a secret:X. I've officially ordered my new wheels, in a crazy secret size, chosen by the one & only wheel freak my love Benson (:THank you handsome). I'm putting together my 1st sponsorship proposal. Its really exciting, but yes, the time has come to start puttingmy hand out and get some sponsors, more specifically tires & a big turbo & a boost controller. So yes, paint, turbo, boost up, fmic and interior. I'm looking for a good interior place to do my rear seats and side panels on the door. If you know anyone or anyplaceshoot me an email. Thanks. Anyways, my goal right now is to get a cute feature and get on the cover of a magazine. Its more of a dream that I hope I can make reality. Oh yah, and I want to get better at drifting! These things take time, but I'm starting now, wish me luck, should we start a count-down?!Meanwhile in reality...today I was driving home and went over a dip and the 180SXxy konked out. I couldn't get her started after that. I thought it was something like IC piping, but no luck. My SileightyMania & my Hakujin Driftaa Ernie looked at my car (which was stranded) and figured out that it was the fuse for my fuel pump. Crazy stuff. Pretty scary, guess my wiring or my fuel pump tripped out when I went over the dip. I've better stop driving so crazy and upgrade my fuel pump already. So before I start my crazy journey I'd better pick up a new fuel pump. In these next few months I'll be planning the big SoCal event, and also a meet, stay tuned here! Take care all, I'll see you in a few. August 16, 2003 14,801 miles. I'm back from the Buttonwillow event. It ended up being a drift & grip event. I gripped the track and had loooots of fun! We were using the east loop, which was quite small, short & narrow. I practiced my racing line with Yoshie. On my first run my turbo starting coming loose! All the drama with my downpipe & muffler has been putting a lot of tug on the turbo from the outlet pipe. Luckily my baby was nice enuf to screw my turbo on hahaha.Thank you Ben ;). I ran the course as hard as I could, my speed through it was around 70mph, I thought that was pretty good considering it was a very narrow and windy track. I didn't loose it the entire day! Anyways, I don't really have much to say about that event other than my car is setup pretty well right now for grip AND drift. The only thing that I do different with my set-up when I drift is change my rear tires to 15's. Anyways, on the way home a piece of wood smashed into my car, and just my luck...it hit my KOUKI BUMPER!!!! It put a hole the size of my index finger tip ;(, right NEXT to the license plate part. Shit happens, but WHY to my newbumper?! Well, it gives me an excuse to start crying about a new paint job! Hehehe. Also, I went to lunch with a friend to a restaurant in Alhambra this Thursday. I parked in a parking structure. On my way back home one of the pieces of my kouki bumper, the square that connects to the bumper and fender flew off. Luckily my friend was behind me and picked it up off the street AFTER I ran over it. I examined it to find that all the tabs were ripped, it lookedlike someone tried to tear it off. So some mother shithole bitch was trying to jack my lil' side piece in the parking structure at lunch. Okay, if I'm one of the only people here in the fucking whole US with that bumper, why the fuck would you want to jack the lil' side pieces?!!?!? Newsflash...it doesn't fit any other bumper but the kouki bumper. Whoever you are you're a fucking idiot. I sware, nowadays you can't have anything nice without someone wanting to jack you. Do you know how hard I work for my money? I have two jobs, I'm a full time mom and a student and I live on my own. Don't steal from me! Bachi to them, they'll get theirs I'm sure of it. Anyways...this weekend I'm meeting with the organizers of SoCal240SX.org. We've booked California Speedway for a All-Nissan drift event. Its going to be thrown by SoCal240SX.org & Drift Association, LLC on 11/29. We're working out the details this weekend so we can start promoting. Its going to be a really big thing, not just another drift day, but sort of a big drift party with games heheee. You heard itfirst here at Nadine180.com baby! Mark your calendars! Also, don't forget the Official Summer 240SX meet hosted by SoCal240SX.org is this coming Saturday 8/23. For details click here. See ya! August 5, 2003 14,313 miles. I picked up my Bride seats and put them in! I'm really proud of myself, I did it all by myself, and 2 evenings later they're in. As my aching hands are typing this diary entry the boys are being kind enough to bleed my brakes & change my brake master cylinder for me. Thank you Marc, Alex, & Ben. Everyone is helping everyone get ready for the event at Buttonwillow this coming Saturday. I'm not really clear if its a drift or grip event, but either wayI'm going. I hope its grip so I can concentrate on learning my racing lines. Oh yah ;), check out the September 2003 issue of Import Tuner, my car is in there on one of the power pages. Thank you Ogiichan for putting me in! It was from when I dynoed my car a few months ago. Its supposed to be a 2 or 3 part story, so I'll be back in a few months with my next dyno run, hopefully sporting a boost controlleror maybe a turbo upgrade. Anyways...a good friend gave me the heads up about my ex-roommate (also Benson's ex-friend) more or less talking shit about me in the LA Auto Guide, saying how the ONLY true girl drifter is Yoshie. Hahhaa, omg. So if I'm not a girl drifter asshole, what am I? Certainly I'm more of a drifter than you are. This guy has enough nerve to make that bold statement, when HE has not ever driven a single drift event! I'm at EVERY drift event, working AND driving. He's like the only filipino with a AE86 that doesn't drive at events, he just drives TO them so he can try to showoff his fugly ass ride. Talk about SELL OUT. I can drift circles around you for hours on end. Its people like you that fuck the drifting scene up.~*Anyways, jeez I love having my own website, no one can censor my flames. Excuse my venting, but I'm a hot head baby! ;). I'll see ya'll at the next event! Take care. July 28, 2003 14,005 miles. I'm home from Drift Day! I had so much fun at drift day 7. I got to try out my new coilovers & tire set-up and loved it. At this event I finally got down Krispy Kremes going both ways and figure 8's. At the J-turn course I finally brought it through using my e-brake. I kicked the clutch for my 1st time at the J-turn too (my girl Yoshie was teaching me how). Kicking the clutch is so scary cuz its reallyout of the ordinary. It took me a few tries at it cuz my foot kept wanted to get off the gas pedal when I kicked it. I was so scared the car was going to do something crazy when I kicked it hahaha, but hey I was at THE place to do it, an open ass course with very few poles in sight. I started using the clutch at the skid pad too. At the other longer courses I practicedmy e-brake technique. I'm happy to say I GET IT NOW. I need to work on bringing the drifts through and ending them smoothly. I left this event with a happy (finally I got somewhere) feeling. It was hot, but you don't think about the heat when you're on the track drifting. The 180SXxy's temp didn't budge the whole day. I'm really satisfied with my set-up thus far.I sold my Cusco coilovers (Kyle you're a sweety), so I'm going to Bride USA today to pick up my new Bride Ergo racing seat. I plan to get one now and the other after I buy my front mount. My few complaints of the day were: my tranny fluid was leaking on my exhaust piping everytime I did my crazy Krispy Kremes, I'm not sure if its my overflow on the tranny ortherez a leak (back to Gushi Auto I go for that), and there were only two girls on the track (me & Yoshie). You don't know how many girls me & Yoshie drove by, but there were a lot, just sitting there, looking pretty under tents watching their boyfriends. OMG. These girls have no guts, its hilarious to watch them just sit there the entire day (6 am - 6 pm). If you know any girls that would be willing to comeout to an event and actually DRIVE, have them email me, and I'll hook it up. Yoshie & I (my only fellow girl drifter)will help them out on the track. You can take a stock car with stock suspension out there! Even an auto! Even a car no LSD! (I had no LSD when I went to my first drift event) My friend brought his 240SX out with stock suspension and did fine (good Job ED ;)! Anyways, yesI'm happy with everything, and looking forward for the next drift event. Check it out if you haven't already.
I just want to say thank you to Richard, Alex, Kyle, Ken, Ernie, Brendan, and Jason for suprising me & Ben with that beautiful plaque of our article from Drifting Magazine. You guys are so thoughtful, we're so lucky to have friends like you! MUAH. July 24, 2003 13,578 miles. Drift Day is Saturday and I'm ready baby. My leaky turbo outlet pipe is fixed thanks to Gushi Auto and I put a 5Zigen downpipe on and said byebye to that stupid Trust one. And most importantly, I've got my new coilovers on hahahaa. Ben gave me his HKS Hipermax II's since he is property of Tanabe USA now. I Love my new coilovers, thank you baby. They feel very differentfrom my Cuscos. Better in a good way, the ride is much more stable and hard. The Cuscos were nice and comfortable, but I don't like much ride, yah do you get that cuz I think I'm not making sense. Anyways, I can't wait to try out my new coilovers and tire set-up at the track. I'm going to improve on my krispykremes (doughnuts) and low-speed drifts. I really enjoy doing Krispy Kremes, but only one way. Also, Ihave found that I really like high-speed drifts and hate the low-speed ones. I need to get over it and learn low-speed drifts before I get too ahead of myself. I've come to the conclusion that with girls, it takes longer to learn how to drift, not cuz girls are shitty drivers (cuz no way in hell they are), but because us women think and analyze things way more than men do. We're not so anxious to get behind the wheeland show-off and drive the shit out of our cars. I've also come to the conclusion that girl-drifters-in-learning don't like to be watched! Hahahahaa. Anyways, yes I'll be working the registration table in the morning at driftday then I'll be driving the rest of the day. Wish me happy drifting. ;). July 14, 2003 13,358 miles. So I've been driving around with a leaky downpipe for exactly a month now hahaa. The stud on my turbo outlet pipe is still broken. I'm going to take my car to Gushi Auto on Wednesday to have them fix it. I think I might have figured out the problem with my muffler. It seems that my new Trust Downpipe is the culprit. The Trust downpipe is sold to "fit" on both the S13 AND S14. They aren't the same downpipes though. The S13 one needs an extra bracket to connect to the mount in front of the cat, meow. And its not there!!! How fucking whack is that. Don't get a trust downpipe, they're just trouble. I'm going to try out a 5Zigen downpipe, which is 70mm and is made especially for the S13. My Trust is 80mm, but I think I'm missing the bottom end power that the stock downpipe used to give me. So I'll be driving at Drift Day 7 at California Speedway. Its going to be sooooo hot. Also, I'm going to Buttonwillow in the beginning of August for a Drift Association thangthang, its a training session for instructors. I'm going to go there to practice my krispy kremes and racing line. I've decided that I'm going to just replace my stock brake master cylinder with another stock one heheeh and rebuild my calipers. I have the Z brakes, but I have no time or money to get lines, rotors, redrill the rotors etc. I plan to go 5-lug towards the Fall, after my bday (hopefully I'll have money then to buy my new work wheels). So right now I'm going to concentrate on selling my extra parts (bumper, bov, wing, etc. ~they're on my bbs if you'd like to check em' out) so I can go pick up my Bride seats. They've been callin' out to me for months. Wow I've been getting so many nice emails from people who read me & Benson's article in Drifting Magazine. If you're one of those people, thank you again, your comments are so inspiring and thoughful~*the emails are what keeps my love for my car & drifting alive.~*Well happy tuning and drifting. June 22, 2003 12,918 miles. Its been a while since I've written! I dynoed my car at XS Engineering on the 13th. My car was a "test car" for a magazine power page. They put my muffler and intake back to stock and dynoed my car. Then they added the parts and kept dynoing after every new part. Results are as follows hehehehe...Stock Blk Top SR20DET with KA muffler & Airbox 166 Blitz LM Air Filter +2 5Zigen Border Max Exhaust System +17 (!!!) Trust 80mm Downpipe +3 Best run at 189.50 hp to the cute wheels. Next week or so I'm going back for some more dyno runs. I'll let you know when the cute magazine comes out. But, anyways...I got the Falken ST-115's (235/40/ZR17), thanks to my Ben (he gaveme the tires he won at Drift Showoff :) thanks baby). So far they're gripping really well, considering my road rage and all the rain we've been getting these past few days. One of the screws on myturbo outlet pipe broke AND the bracket on the downpipe so does not line up with my muffler. This is what is so annoying about car stuff!!! So now I have a major exhaust leak and I had to raise my car 3/4" cuz my mufflerwas hanging way low. Things never seem to fit. I found out that all the clunking noises I was hearingaround my front driver's side wheel was a combo of my coilover, inner tie-rod, and my brake pads! I got my inner tie-rod fixed, but the brake pad is still moving and the coilover is still mysteriously clunking.Drama Drama. ~*So I've run into money money problems, I never have money in the summer. My Bride Seats are in, I want to upgrade to 5-lug and get rims already, I need a new paint job, and I want a FMIC. I have a bunch of my stufffor sale to raise money for my new things. I put up my Bomex wing and fucking ebay took it (along with ALL the other auctions of people selling Bomex aero) down and claimed we were selling copies. W T F!!!!Sue me Bomex, my wing is real omfg. The things I'm selling include my 91+ bumper w/JDM turn signals, BOV, Bomex, wing, stock tailights, and some other thangthangs. They're on my message board right now, and I'll have them up on ebay soon.I'm going to Frisco for the Drift Day 6, but I'm probably not going to be driving up there. Can we say rental? I'll be staffing at the registration table and instructing crazy boys at the skid pad probably. Well, happy drifting and I'll see youin a few ;). May 15, 2003 12,486 miles. Going to school & work everyday is putting a lot of miles on my car!! I finally changed my oil a week or so ago. I finally got my friend to put in my new head unit I've had for like months now. I've been tire shopping, because its about that time of the year! Benson might give me his new Falken ST-115's he won at Drift Showoff, I'm excited about that. If that doesn't happen thenI'm going to be getting Yokohama ES100's. Both the ST-115's & ES100's I've been hearing good things about, and hey, Kouguchi rolls with ST-115s all the way around.~I've been eyeing some new Work wheels. I plan to sell off my Cusco Comp2's & Work E-wing mesh soon. I'm going 5-lug 17x9 baby. Time for a change. The Cuscos are too soft for me. I hope to be able to wear Benson'sHKS HipermaxII's. First thing is first, I've got to pay for my Bride seats...I ordered the ERGO reclining seats. How cute they are huh! Enough about buying stuff...my drivers-side ball joint is ripped and I'm hearing some clunking noise coming from there when I brake. Uh oh. Time for new ball joints. Drift Day 5 is next weekend, 5/24 & 5/25. I think I'll be driving Saturday and staffingSunday, that is, if I have my ball joint(s) fixed! There are a lot of events coming up in the next few months. I'm excited about it, but also nervous. I want to get better at drifting, and especially in these coming months I'm going to practice way more. Me & my girl Yoshie (fellow girl drifter who drives an AE86) want to one day drift side-by-side. That's my dream & my goal. Hopefully by the end of the year we'll almost be there. Practice makes perfect. Take care and I'll see youat the drift events! April 22, 2003 10,707 miles. Happy Earth Day. Yes, still I haven't changed my oil! I just found out my driver's side ball joint is ripped and I'm sure the passenger is ripped too. The replacing never stops when you have a 240. Oh my. Me & my baby have been looking around for a daily driver, another 240SX (S13). We found some, but I guess we know too much...we're too picky! Its amazing howstupid Nissan dealers are too omg. Never buy a used car from a dealer..."$3,000.00 is a bargain for this S13 with 312,000 miles (with dents on every body panel)." Surrrre ricers!I just found out about a Ladies School AutoX, so I'll be attending that on 5/3, sounds fun. All women on the track! After asking a bunch of sell-out girl ricers, I finally found some girls to go with me and actually DRIVE!! My girl Yoshie! There's also a private drift event at night on the 2nd of May, another autoX on the 17th and a drift day on the 26 & 27. My poor car, omg my poor ball joint(s). Before then I will at least change my oil and check out my tires. I'm goingto do some tire shopping soon, I'm considering the Yokohama ES100's or the Falken Azenis hmmmm. I bought some Greddy Pulleys, they're so cute omg...they match my coilovers, how cute is that! Anyways...off I go to midterm, broken ball joint, unsponsored, need-an-oilchange-land. Take care, and race safe & cute. April 9, 2003 9,898 miles. Got the brake lights fixed, I managed to blow every brake filament! Just got back from the RSR Drift Event, and no I didn't compete! I hope to compete soon, but I need to practice more. My baby SileightyMania's clutch unfuckingfortunately went out at the event so he couldn't drive his car...you're always a winner in my heart sweety hehe. I haven't changed my oil yet, I'm overdue! I've been having some clunking noise coming from mycoilovers on the passenger side and the big screw on the pillow mount was coming loose! We took my wheel off and the spring perches were completely to the bottom thread. WTF huh, over the 12,000 miles I've had them on they've managed to slip from the 7th thread from the bottom to the absolute bottom. Crazy stuff. Word to the wise, check your coilovers every oil change or so! I messed up cuz I never take a goodlook at them. Its starting to get hot and I have no a/c, so I'm going hook my a/c up next month. The mechanic at Cartune tells me that he can make it work with the SR compressor and the US controller. I hope he can get it to work! I haven't had any overheating problems yet, but I'm debating whether or not to shop for a radiator. Its going to be one hot summer! I did have one on order from JIC, but those dishonest foolsscrewed us over. Please DON'T go to JIC, you'll get ripped off just like me and everyone else has. (For more info on that drama visit my bbs) I saw Koyo at the RSR event and got their card, maybe its time to start writing up my proposal and ask for some sponsorships! I think people tend to check my car out more cuz its known to be the "girl car," so I suppose that would make me a good candidate forsponsorship. I go to drift events, speedtrial events, and autox's, why can't a girl like me get sponsored? Where's the love for the girl racers out there? I guess you don't get anything (except if you're sileightymania hahaha) unless you ask for it. I don't know if any of you boys have a proposal that I can see, but if you do, email me, I'd just like to see some samples. I ordered my new personalized plates from the DMV heehee, all I gotta say is they're going to be so cute! Next month is going to be a busy month,I'm attending an AutoX on the 17th and Club 4AG's Drift Day 5 on the 24th. Just call me busy racer bee. I'll see ya'll at the cute tracks! March 24, 2003 9,484 miles. The kouki bumper is on ;). My rear bumper still does not fit:(...despite the drama, the photo shoot for Import Racer still went on. We did the shoot for about half the day. The pics turned out sooooo nice. The article is turning out to be 6 pages and its about me & Ben and our cars. I'm so excited omg! My wiring for my taillights got messed up in the bumper change, so I have NO brake lights hahaha.Good job huh. Hopefully I can get the lights re-wired tonight so I don't have to keep driving on small streets hoping no one rear-ends me hahahaa. So now I can finally see my car with the bumper on, and I'm thinking about getting the kouki 180SX side steps. Maybe its time for a poll. Hehehe. Anyways, I'm going to kick back, relax, and go help my Ben get his swap on...its my spring break! See you soon! March 21, 2003 9,445 miles. Its been a happy week. I'm done with finals and I'm on my spring break. More importantly, my kouki aero is painted! I picked up a new factory rear bumper as well and took it all to get painted at PJ's. Me & my boys stayed up all night trying to figure out wtf was wrong with my rear bumper...basically, before I had my car, it was hit really bad in the rear passenger quarter panel and was repaired MickeyMouseStyle, sonaturally, my support is bent, my rear sub-frame and inner trunk has some welding, and well, now that I have a new bumper that is not repaired, it doesn't line up!!! The bumper is on now, but it doesn't line up yet. We're going to work on it tomorrow, I'm going to put on a new support, so hopefully it will solve my rear bumper drama. And I'm sure you're wondering what about the kouki bumper...well here it is.I'm going to put it on tomorrow after I fix my rear bumper drama. Me & BensonLove got in Import Racer magazine, they're doing a lil' 2-page article on our cars, so I'm scrambling to get everything fixed before then. Benson is even trying to put in another SR in his car cuz his old one is dying, omg he's had that engine for 4 years! But anyhow, I'm excited about the photo shoot for the mag, its this Sunday. I've got to wash my engine bay,wax my car, detail the interior, change my cracked dash, and polish my rims. Guess I've got a full day of work ahead of me. As for the other thangthangs coming up...3/31 private drift event (i'll be driving), 4/6 RSR drift event (i'll be staffing), late april...new Brid seats and full interior and a few lil' other thangthangs hehehe. Brace yourself! March 4, 2003 8,895 miles. Just came back from the Drift Showoff and I want to start this entry off by saying CONGRATULATIONS to my baby SileightyMania for winning 1st place in the Drifting Contest. I'm am so fucking proud of him its not even funny :). I Love You Baby...omedetoo! Anyways, yes, my Kouki front bumper is in. I got a brand new one complete with brackets, lights, the absorber and all those goodies that a front bumper needs.I'm going to get it painted along with my new stock rear bumper. I'm going to try out the Kouki front bumper with my Chuki sidesteps for now. People keep saying that its a "Type X" Bumper, but I'd just like to clarify that the kouki 180SX Type X, G, R, S, alllllll came with the same aero! So its really silly when you say "Type X" bumper, wing, etc., sorry but that's my pet peeve! So do me a favor and call it kouki 180SX aero. Anyways...I am officially a ladies instructorfor Club 4AG ;). Staff and close friends of Club 4AG got to have a private drift event this last Friday, February 28th from 5pm-11pm. This was my first night-time event and high speed drift course. OMG I had soo much fun. It was coldddd so the 180SXxy was lovin' it. I practiced my braking drift technique and throttle control. I learned that I need to work on bringing the drifts through smoothly from start to finish. Its reallydifficult to end my drifts smoothly. I've gotta keep practicing. At the Drift Showoff I was staff and flagged the beginner & intermediate courses and had a lot of fun. I could have drove but I'm just not feeling the low speed 5 second tracks. We'll see. Hopefully there will be another private drift event soon, I really like practicing at night and where there is not a crowd. Anyways,I am going to concentrate more on practicing my drifting skillZ for the rest of the year. Hopefully by the end of the year I can start drifting with my girl Yoshie. And hopefully by then there will be more girls at the track events! The Kouki bumper will go on next month and so will a few other suprises. Stay tuned...lots of changes are about to occur ;). Happy Drifting. January 16, 2003 7,509 miles. Finally my LSD is on and the new aero is ordered! I changed my oil a few nights ago. I'll be needin' spark plugs next oil change omg. I checked my tyres today and they seem to be doing well, I'll probably buy some in February. Tomorrow I'll be representin' at the Option2 Video Drift Thangthang. I'm not sure if you've heard about it, but my baby SileightyMania got chosen as one of thetop 15 drifters in Cali to meet some Drifters from Japan and get a chance to be interviewed by Option Video :). I'm so proud of him, good luck baby! Last night we stayed up till 4:30am finishing up his HKS fmic. HecticHectic. But I can't wait to meet Nomuken and watch all my friends drift for the bigboys ;). If they have this again, I hope next time I can drive. I promised myself I'd practicehard at the drift events, because I want to get good hehehee. That's everyone's dream, but I think you either have it or you don't, and so far I have to yet to come to a conclusion. Wish my baby luck tomorrow! Talk to you in a few ;). January 9, 2003 7,249 miles. Happy New Year everyone! I'm counting down the days till I can finally release Nadine180.com Version 2003. I've been trying to get a new bbs set up and its taking too gd long. So for the past two months the 180SXxy has been running fyne, but she's way due for a tune-up & oil change. I'm thinking of trying a different kind of spark plug...maybe platinums instead of iridiums. I have an appointment at Cartune to get: my oil changed, LSD installed, dash changed (omg I have a big crack in my dash), my firewall seal changed (its bad and my heater hose has been re-routed since JUNE 02=no heater), my downpipe installed, and I think, I hope, that's it hahahhaa, my appointment is Saturday. I'm signed up for the next Club4Ag Drift Event at Irwindale on the 25thof this month. I'm excited to finally be able to use my LSD. It looks like I'll be needing tires after that event. I'm going to probably try out the Falken Azenis (235/40/ZR17)~not sure if I'm buying 2 or 4 hmm. After I get my tax refund the time has come to get my Blitz LM FMIC!!! I'm SOoOoOooo excited. I really like the bumpers by GP Sports, but the one I like only comes in fiberglass, and the ones that do come in plastic are reallly fugly. I don't trust myself with a fiberglass bumper, cuz I love my car slammmmmed. Hopefully I can find some Kouki aero :(. I'm not trying to make my car look like a "typex" omg who came up with that shit...sounds so ricey, but yah I'm just putting the stuff on my car that I think looks cute, so yes, I'm mixing my aero all up just cuz I can. Hhahahaa. I was at Puente Hills Nissan the other day and was lookin at the new 350Z. Its so pretty, I plan to get one when I graduate (next June 2004 baby), butI will of course keep the 180SXxy, I will keep her for life. When I buy my house in Laguna Beach on the cliffs overlooking the ocean I will have a garage with a glass wall so I can look at my 180SXxy for the rest of my life. Hahaha. Boys drive/drift safely and girls go to the track already! Take cares...talk to you in a few :).
