JDM DRIFT CAR TERMINOLOGY
240SX TERMS:
180SX=240SX=200SX
180SX/240SX/200SX - This is an S13 180SX/240SX/200SX.
S13 SILVIA - This is an S13 Silvia.
S13 Conversion - A term ricers use that doesn't make any sense.
ONEVIA - S13 Silvia with 180SX face.
SILEIGHY - 180SX with a S13 Silvia face.
S14 SILVIA - This is an S14 Silvia.
ZENKI - First generation S13 (US 240SX=1989-1990)
CHUKI - Second/Middle generation S13 (US 240SX=1991-1993)
KOUKI - Third/Last generation S13. (US didn't get these, but in Japan they were around from 1997-1999)
Kouki, Chuki & Zenki can be used interchangeably with any Make Model
TYPE X - A term ricers use when referring to Kouki 180SX Aero. Type S, G, R, X all have the same aero, so its Kouki 180SX Aero!
KOUKI TAILIGHTS - 3rd Generation 180SX tailights.
180SX TAILIGHTS - 1st & 2nd generation 180SX tailights.
S13 SILVIA TAILIGHTS - S13 Silvia tailights.
S14 SILVIA TAILIGHTS - S14 Silvia tailights.

COROLLA TERMS:
HACHIROKU - 86, top of the line Toyota Corolla with 4AG engine
HACHIGO - base "SR5" model Toyota Corolla, has a carburated 4AC engine.

OTHER NEED-TO-KNOW TERMS:
BORO - Japanese for ghetto. Beat up.
DRIFTER - One who drifts.
GIRL DRIFTER - A woman who drifts.
GIRL RACER - A girl who takes pride in HER (not her boyfriend's) car and races, not on the street, on the track! She likes racing her car.
DRIFTING PRETTY - America's first official girl drifting program. It trains women how to race, drift and work on cars.
TEAM DRIFTING PRETTY - America's first all-woman drifting competition team, established in 2004.
JDM - Japan Domestic Market, stuff that is made and sold for use in Japan only.
TOUGE - Japanese for a cute, winding mountain road which is often used for racing and sometimes drifting.

SWAP TERMINOLOGY:
FRONT CLIP - A front half of a car. It is cut like THIS.
BLACK TOP S13 SR20DET - 205HP 2.0L 16 Valve Turbo Charged Engine that came in a 1994 - 1998 Nissan 180SX.
RED TOP S13 SR20DET - 205HP 2.0L 16 Valve Turbo Charged Engine that came in a 1991 - 1993 Nissan 180SX & Silvia.

NADINE180 TERMINOLOGY:
180SXxy - What Nadine USED to refer to her as.
DRAMA - 1. Things that just shouldn't happen
GIRL RICER - A girl who calls herself a girl racer, but doesn't actually race.
SIDELINE RICER - Guys & Girls who bad mouth people out on the track when they themselves don't ever go out on the track. I don't get why these people think that they can critique people's drifting skills when they've never tried drifting an event.
POSER - my pet peeve Those (guys or girls) who don't drift for the fun, they drift for the attention. Those who used to drag race and now think they're going to succeed in drifting.
RICER - Those who love the bling but can't afford it, so they buy parts from taiwan and drive around with unpainted fake fiberglass body kit copies. 2. Those who drive touge because of InitialD.

MISC:
AUTOX - Autocross. Monthly car event, held mostly in parking lots & airports. Timed race course designed entirely of cones and chaulk lines. Teaches participants car control and what understeer is! The object is to get through the entire course as fast as you can without hitting any cones
DRIFT EVENT - New in 2002 to Southern California drivers. Popular sanctioning bodies include Drift Association LLC & justDrift! These events are held at Irwindale Speedway and California Speedway. They are open to all makes & models of cars. They're geared to get you more familiar with "breaking your car loose." And do offer instruction from experienced Drifters.
DRIFT DAY - The first ever sanctioned drifting practice in California. Now these are held monthly. Fore more info, visit DriftDay.com
DRIFT ASSOCIATION, LLC - One of the first drift event sanctioning bodies in America. They were responsible for holding the first ever Sanctioned Drifting Event: Drift Day 1.
